Our story
1969 Motel built
Current owner
Anne Sigley is new to QLD having moved from Perth WA in June 2023 to own and manage the motel. Anne has worked extensively in the Kimberley. The move to the cooler climate has been a challenge. Watch the Flying Spur Motel develop over the next few years with upgrades to rooms and refurbishments of the existing buildings.
Anne looks forward to welcoming new and return customers.
How to Get Here
Public Transport
Buses, taxis, and ride-share are all available to the motel.
Airports
Although a short walk from the Toowoomba Aerodrome, please note we are 20 minutes by car from the Toowoomba Wellcamp AIrport.
Drive Yourself
Located 10 minutes from the Toowoomba CBD, the motel has plenty of off street parking for all guests.

Day room available on request via phone bookings only, separate costs apply.
We are pet friendly for small to medium sized animals (up to 25kg) upon request via phone bookings only. Pets MUST be pre-approved by management. Own pet bowls/bedding are to be brought along and pets are required to stay with their owner and are NOT to be left in the room by themselves. An additional $40 cleaning charge will apply.
